Life as Pink Einstein

As I have been unpacking my summer wardrobe over the past couple of weeks I realized just how many sundresses I really own. I could probably wear a different one each day for a couple of months! I love a good sundress for the summer and its practically all I wear. They keep you cool and you can look so put together with very little effort. I wanted to share a few of my favorite places to buy sundresses as well as some of the cute dresses currently available from those retailers. 

Raise your hand if you're starting to go crazy being stuck in your house! I know I am. I'm also tired of wearing pajamas all day everyday. Today I have put together four outfits that are comfortable but still cuter than your pajamas and are perfect for whatever you're doing while being stuck at home.

Around this time last year I shared a blog post about the items I had recently purchased and everyone seemed to love it. I've done a little bit of random shopping this summer to prepare for college, to expand my work wear wardrobe, and have also found a couple of things while out having fun with my friends. I have been too busy to give each look/item their own post so I thought we would bring back My Recent Purchases for round two so I can share these fun items.

  Pink Einstein, who's she? I'm back! Hopefully you remember me. Senior year is exhausting and the countdown to graduation is officially on! Our cap and gowns came in week before last, I'm planning my graduation party, and taking senior pictures, it's starting to feel so real!    Enough about me, let's talk about this cute outfit. Denim skirts are very trendy right now. You can find a wide variety of them at different price ranges practically anywhere. Today's outfit is super comfy, affordable, and so cute! I'm sharing two different ways I styled this outfit around a denim skirt that I purchased at Target.

If I'm being completely honest, I like the idea of Black Friday but it never turns out how I expect for it to but Cyber Monday on the other hand, that is where I thrive. Cyber Monday is so much better than Black Friday because I get all the same great deals without having to put on real clothes, see people, or leave my house. I must say I am having a fabulous first week of senior year! Tonight is our church kickoff to start the new school year and I can not wait! I volunteer before church starts and help serve dinner to students with all of my friends and we always have so much fun!    I picked up this adorable pink parrot peplum top from Belk while back to school shopping and I love everything about it! It is so comfortable, I love the design, and it has a bow detailing on the back which makes the shirt 100x better.

Back to School With Pink Einstein I start senior year today and I want to make the most out of this year. I want to finish off my high school career with good grades. I also don't want this year to be a stressful one and one way I plan on preventing that from happening is by staying on top of my school work. I have a few tips on how you can squeeze each day and how you can be a productive student.

If you're looking to get out of the heat I highly recommend going to see Mama Mia! Here We Go Again. McCray and I went on Saturday and loved it! Going to the movies has been one of our go-to summer activities because it has been too hot to do anything outside. Here is my Mama Mia outfit that helped keep me cool in this heat while still looking cute!

I love writing these posts, it gives me an excuse to go shopping! I am back with another dressing room try on so that I can share about a sale going on but don't worry, it's not the Nordstrom sale, I am so tired of hearing about it, the prices aren't even that great. Old Navy has 30%-50% off right now and I found some great items!

My obsession with gingham is so real! Hopefully you love the gingham trend as much as I do because I feel like this is the 100th time I've shared a gingham look this summer! 

I am in love with this pink ruffle sleeve top! It is from Target and I purchased it last week. These pixie pants or {petal}pushers were only $7.00 in the clearance section at Old Navy! These pants aren't on their website but I linked a few of my favorite floral Pixie Pants down below and if you shop in store they may still have them in stock. These statement earrings are my new favorite! I purchased them on clearance as well at Charming Charlie for $12! 

Now that I'm officially on spring break I feel like its actually starting to feel like spring. I'm excited to pull out all of my sandals and sundresses! My friends and I love spending the day downtown going in all of the little boutiques and fun shops. This dress is such an easy piece to throw on with pearls and sandals and go. 

I am definitely not a Valentine's kind of girl but I was dying to wear this flamingo shirt again and I thought the perfect opportunity to would be on Valentine's Day. So here's my Valentine's look!

You know it's going to be a good Monday when Starbucks runs out of grande cups after you've already payed so they give you a venti for no extra charge! Here is my Monday look!

Guess what day it is? Guess what day it is? It's hump day!! Woot Woot! *Insert GEICO commercial featuring the camel, lol!* I got this adorable camel sweater for Christmas and if you watched my Christmas Haul you also saw it featured there. I was so excited to wear this sweater! It is one of my favorite colors, coral and it has a camel on it, it can't get much better than that! 

I am back with another dressing room try on! This is from Black Friday and everyone on Instagram (follow me @PinkEinstein) said they still wanted to see this post, so sorry it's going up so late. So if you're new, when I go shopping I take pictures of everything I try on and talk about what I liked or didn't like about the item. I do not buy everything that is featured but this time I did buy most of it because the whole Old Navy store was 50% off! I will try to link the items in case you want to shop them if they are still in stock. 

The weather here has been crazy lately, one day it will be in the 90's and the next it will be in the low 50's.  I recently found this top in one of my drawers and I forgot that I had purchased it. I styled it into a fun transitional look that I really love! You can customize this look depending on how the weather is by adding a sweater over the top or changing out the shoes.

My first week of school was about a month ago and I never go around to sharing about it but I did a recap last year and wanted to at least share my outfits this year so here is an OOTW for my first week of junior year! Since my first week was so long ago I don't remember all of the details of each day so those won't be featured in this post like they were last year but if you would like to read my recap from last year click here .

Yesterday was my last day of summer and I am officially back at school for the new school year. Here's a few of the things that were my favorite this summer!
