Back to school season is right around the corner which means college football is too. Now that I'm going to a school that has a team, I can't wait to dress up and go to all the games with my friends! Today I've rounded up a few fun looks perfect for game day based on your school colors. 

I fell in love with this top as soon as I saw it in The Impeccable Pig. The color, the gingham, and the embroidered daisies are too cute!

 I put this dress on the second I unboxed it in last week's shipment at The Impeccable Pig. I was instantly in love and it came home with me that night! 

 These boots weren't made for walking, especially after the foot surgeries I've had but they are so cute! Honestly they really aren't that uncomfortable, I'm just not used to wearing anything with a heel. I picked these boots up while roaming through Belk last week and had no intention of buying anything while I was there until I spotted these. They are currently about 70% off so they are only $20! For that price I could not pass them up! They come in eight different colors and patterns and they are such a fun statement piece.

I spotted theses shorts in Francesca's the other day and knew I had to have them. They are a very loose, comfortable fit that will keep you cool and the colors are so fun. Since purchasing them I have found two ways I really like to wear them. They're both casual looks, one is just more put together and the other is a throw on and go type look.

Exciting news: I got a job! I now work at Francesca's and I absolutely love it. I had never purchased anything at Fran's until I got the job and I'm just now realizing how cute their clothes are. My sister and I did a little bit of summer shopping in there the other day and I picked up these two gorgeous dresses.  Sadly, neither one of these dresses are available for purchase on their website anymore but I would still check in your local boutique, I know ours still has quite a few of both of them in stock. I love the straps that tie in a bow, the color palette, and the fun hem. This dress can definitely be worn a ton of different ways. As I have been unpacking my summer wardrobe over the past couple of weeks I realized just how many sundresses I really own. I could probably wear a different one each day for a couple of months! I love a good sundress for the summer and its practically all I wear. They keep you cool and you can look so put together with very little effort. Striped sweaters are my new favorite thing! I think at this point I own four... Every time I see one in the store I have to have it. I can't find the links to any of the sweaters I own so I thought I would round up a few that I found while online shopping that are now on my to-buy list!

So the other day I went to the mall like I actually had money to spend or something and I tried on about half of the H&M store and a few things at some other stores too. Of course I took pictures of everything I tried on because everyone seems to love a good dressing room try on session. I came home with three of the items I tried on but if I could I would have purchased almost all of it.

Around this time last year I shared a blog post about the items I had recently purchased and everyone seemed to love it. I've done a little bit of random shopping this summer to prepare for college, to expand my work wear wardrobe, and have also found a couple of things while out having fun with my friends. I have been too busy to give each look/item their own post so I thought we would bring back My Recent Purchases for round two so I can share these fun items.
