Just north of Dallas lays the prettiest field of tulips, which makes for a perfect day trip activity for you and your friends. Texas Tulips is located in Pilot Point and is a place I look forward to visiting when they open each year.
Tulip season is limited to late February- early April and with the growing popularity of this tulip farm, now is the perfect time to plan a trip. Once the tulips fields are bare, they close for the rest of the season. The entry fee is $5 a person and each tulip is $2.50. Texas Tulips gives you the full experience, providing baskets for your flowers and stands to get your flowers wrapped before you leave.
Unless you live close to the tulip farm, your tulips are going to look pretty sad by the time you get home. Below are my go-to tips to perk your tulips up and keep them looking fresh while they're on display in your home.
My friends and I only spent about an hour at the tulip farm so to make our trip worth while, we drove 30 minutes to the Denton Square to walk around before making the drive home. We grabbed a coffee at Jupiter House, walked in all of the little boutiques, and had lunch and Board and Barley, which I highly recommend!

You look beautiful in all of the photographs above wearing that pretty floral print sundress out in the Tulip field!
