Life as Pink Einstein

So the other day I went to the mall like I actually had money to spend or something and I tried on about half of the H&M store and a few things at some other stores too. Of course I took pictures of everything I tried on because everyone seems to love a good dressing room try on session. I came home with three of the items I tried on but if I could I would have purchased almost all of it.

Around this time last year I shared a blog post about the items I had recently purchased and everyone seemed to love it. I've done a little bit of random shopping this summer to prepare for college, to expand my work wear wardrobe, and have also found a couple of things while out having fun with my friends. I have been too busy to give each look/item their own post so I thought we would bring back My Recent Purchases for round two so I can share these fun items.

Last month McCray and I had a fun graduation party at my house with all of our friends and family to celebrate our high school completion and the exciting things that are ahead of us. I had so much fun planning and decorating for this party, I just had to share about it.

This Lilly Pulitzer skirt was one of my favorite After Party Sale purchases last summer but for some reason I never actually wore it while it was still warm out. I was going through my closet the other day and found it and I have loved styling it ever since! I wore this outfit while I was out walking around downtown with my little sister last week and it was perfect. In January I styled this skirt to be warn during the colder months and you can read that blog post here . I love that it is so versatile and I highly recommend it. The Fourth of July is next week and it caught me by surprise when I was checking my calendar yesterday. I found six dresses all at different price ranges that I think would be perfect for The Fourth.
