Life as Pink Einstein

This little black dress is one of my favorite dresses to throw on for a cute and comfortable look. I purchased it last summer at J Crew so the exact dress is no longer available but I was excited when I found a very similar one on the Aerie website that is still available for you to shop.

So the other day I went to the mall like I actually had money to spend or something and I tried on about half of the H&M store and a few things at some other stores too. Of course I took pictures of everything I tried on because everyone seems to love a good dressing room try on session. I came home with three of the items I tried on but if I could I would have purchased almost all of it.

McCray and I spent the day Saturday at North Park and had some fun shopping. We tried on a few different things from the Gal Meets Glam collection at Nordstrom and at Lilly Pulitzer. I loved most everything I tried on and had to share in case you wanted to shop the items too!

If I'm being completely honest, I like the idea of Black Friday but it never turns out how I expect for it to but Cyber Monday on the other hand, that is where I thrive. Cyber Monday is so much better than Black Friday because I get all the same great deals without having to put on real clothes, see people, or leave my house. It's not quite time to pull out all of the sweaters and vests but I did want to share a summer to fall transition outfit that will give you all of the fall feels but will also keep you cool when it warms up in the afternoon.

I am definitely not a Valentine's kind of girl but I was dying to wear this flamingo shirt again and I thought the perfect opportunity to would be on Valentine's Day. So here's my Valentine's look!

 I have fallen in love with this elephant dress! I received it for Christmas and could not wait to wear it! This gorgeous Crown and Ivy dress is perfect for banquet or going out to dinner. This dress is actually on major sale right now and I have linked it as well as everything else I'm wearing at the bottom of the post.

The countdown to back to school is on! I look forward to back to school more than I do summer! Today I am giving you six of my back to school wardrobe essentials to kick start your preppy wardrobe for the new school year.
