Life as Pink Einstein

I recently discovered how amazing Abercrombie jeans are, just in time for their 50% off sale! I've rounded up a few of my favorite pieces in the sale, along with my new favorite jeans from there. 

I fell in love with this top as soon as I saw it in The Impeccable Pig. The color, the gingham, and the embroidered daisies are too cute!

 I put this dress on the second I unboxed it in last week's shipment at The Impeccable Pig. I was instantly in love and it came home with me that night! 

  I've been challenging myself to style old pieces from my closet in new ways rather than buying as many new clothes as I normally would during the summer and I'm having so much fun with it!

  Today I styled this Ralph Lauren button down tank from a few summers ago with my new favorite Target shorts. I recommend going to Target, their denim shorts are only $12.  I stopped in Target with my best friend McCray the other day so that she could pick something up. They ended up being out of the beauty product she needed and I ended up leaving with a bag of stuff! Target has so many great summer pieces right now at such a good price. Without even realizing it in the store, the three clothing items I bought all happen to go together. I picked up these shorts, the top, and hair scarf while out shopping that day and this whole look only cost me $19! 

 I purchased my first bodysuit the other day! I know, I am very late to the game. I like the idea of a bodysuit- not having to worry about it coming untucked like a shirt would all day but I have found it harder than expected to style. 

  I was cleaning out my closet earlier this week and realized just how many flannels I have. I love them but I don't wear them anymore. I don't love the look of just a button flannel and skinny jeans, it gives me flashbacks to my eighth grade wardrobe... Naturally, I went to Pinterest for some outfit inspiration so that I can start giving my flannel shirts some love again. 

 These boots weren't made for walking, especially after the foot surgeries I've had but they are so cute! Honestly they really aren't that uncomfortable, I'm just not used to wearing anything with a heel. I picked these boots up while roaming through Belk last week and had no intention of buying anything while I was there until I spotted these. They are currently about 70% off so they are only $20! For that price I could not pass them up! They come in eight different colors and patterns and they are such a fun statement piece.

 Now that I work at the Impeccable Pig my closet is quickly filling up with items from The Pig! Today I'm sharing some of my favorite fall outfits from the past month which you can shop on The Impeccable Pig website . 

I spotted theses shorts in Francesca's the other day and knew I had to have them. They are a very loose, comfortable fit that will keep you cool and the colors are so fun. Since purchasing them I have found two ways I really like to wear them. They're both casual looks, one is just more put together and the other is a throw on and go type look.

As I have been unpacking my summer wardrobe over the past couple of weeks I realized just how many sundresses I really own. I could probably wear a different one each day for a couple of months! I love a good sundress for the summer and its practically all I wear. They keep you cool and you can look so put together with very little effort. I wanted to share a few of my favorite places to buy sundresses as well as some of the cute dresses currently available from those retailers. 

This little black dress is one of my favorite dresses to throw on for a cute and comfortable look. I purchased it last summer at J Crew so the exact dress is no longer available but I was excited when I found a very similar one on the Aerie website that is still available for you to shop.

I featured this dress on the blog last month and everyone seemed to love it as much as I did because we sold out the Dillard's website that night! Today I am back to share four ways I like to style that same dress.

Raise your hand if you're starting to go crazy being stuck in your house! I know I am. I'm also tired of wearing pajamas all day everyday. Today I have put together four outfits that are comfortable but still cuter than your pajamas and are perfect for whatever you're doing while being stuck at home.

Being stuck in my house has given me the perfect time to spend Bible journaling and I actually really like the one I did today.  I never quite know what I should share in these posts besides pictures of my Bible so today I'm sharing the inspiration behind my art, the finished product, and my outfit of the day.

Leopard print is back in style and I have found the most perfect leopard print dress!  I found this dress while I was at the mall last week and I knew I had to have it! It's a super soft knit material that will keep you feeling comfortable all day. The dress has an elastic waist band and a cute ruffle at the bottom which give the dress the most perfect shape.  One thing I love about this dress is how many different ways it can be worn. I could definitely see myself wearing this on so many different occasions including sorority events, girls' night, and out to dinner. In the next couple of weeks I will be putting together a style guide for this dress and I can't wait to share it with you! Target's clothing section has been so good lately and I have found that each time I go in there I leave with at least one new clothing item that I didn't know I needed. My best friend and I had to kill time before going to the movies yesterday so we stopped in Target and I found the perfect overall dress.

This Lilly Pulitzer skirt was one of my favorite After Party Sale purchases last summer but for some reason I never actually wore it while it was still warm out. I was going through my closet the other day and found it and I have loved styling it ever since! I wore this outfit while I was out walking around downtown with my little sister last week and it was perfect. In January I styled this skirt to be warn during the colder months and you can read that blog post here . I love that it is so versatile and I highly recommend it.
