A Pink Einstein Christmas Day 10: Small Town Christmas

Today I am showing you some of my favorite things to do around my small town at Christmas time!

To start off our morning we went to my favorite coffee shop. We had some yummy coffee and a brownie while we were waiting for them to make our breakfast.

For breakfast I got a breakfast quesadilla that had bacon, eggs, corn, beans, cheese, and salsa on it and it was fabulous! My little sister got a bagel with cream cheese for her breakfast.
After breakfast we went into a new decor store that opened a few days ago and we bought some super cute Christmas presents for friends and family.

This store had the cutest hand made Christmas decor it made me want to buy it all and redecorate my house!
After we went in the home decor store we were going to go home when we saw the town's Christmas tree and that Santa had stopped by!

Here is our town's Christmas tree! Around the bottom you can kind of see Christmas scenes painted; every year all of the high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools in my town paint a scene to go around the bottom of the tree. You can also see rows of bicycles. The bicycles were donated by people and are going to be given to children who don't have a lot for Christmas. We didn't have a bicycle so we donated money to help out.
Here you can see one of the Christmas scenes a little bit better.

We had a really good time today joking around and taking pictures.

If you didn't already know, this is my little sister.

Our town is filled with an overwhelming amount of cute boutiques to shop in that always have cute window displays. Another great thing about all of the small businesses we have is that they have unique Christmas presents that are so fun to give to people.

That's all for today's post! Comment below your favorite thing to do around your town at Christmas time!

Luv Ya! ❤

My 21st Birthday + XOXO Dining Room Review

Last month I celebrated my 21st birthday at one of the most Instagramable restaurants in Dallas! If I were a restaurant, I'd definitely be XOXO Dining Room. From the pink building, to the picture-worthy garden, to the DJ's music selection, it could not have been a more perfect place to celebrate my 21st.

Trend Tracking: Western T Shirts

Western and country style has been emerging more within the trendy side of the fashion world recently. Being from Texas, I think it's kind of fun.  Along with bright colored cowboy boots and cow print, you can find many popular fashion influencers wearing western-inspired graphic tees. Today I have rounded up some of my favorites that are all under $40.   YeeHaw T Shirt Wrangler T Shirt //  Cowboy T Shirt //  Cowgirl T Shirt //  Stay Wild T Shirt //  Let's Go Girls T Shirt //  Wild West T Shirt Shilo

A Day In DFW: Texas Tulips

Just north of Dallas lays the prettiest field of tulips, which makes for a perfect day trip activity for you and your friends. Texas Tulips is located in Pilot Point and is a place I look forward to visiting when they open each year.

Trend Tracking: Cardigans

1  // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 // 8 // 9 Sweater cardigans are a hot item at the moment. They are most popularly worn buttoned up as a shirt but are also often seen paired with a solid turtle neck and layered necklaces. I have rounded up nine cardigans I love, all at different price ranges. One thing I love about this trend is the variety. I have some cardigans, like the ones I linked above that I purchased at boutiques and I have others that were my grandma's. I love to wear cardigans with straight leg jeans and booties or fashion sneakers.  shop this cardigan Shilo
