Old Navy Spring Favorites!

I may only be February but it already feels like spring. Old Navy recently released their spring clothes so I wanted to feature some of my favorites! I am featuring my favorites for the major categories (shirts, dresses, shorts, etc.) and giving a little description on why I like the piece and how I would wear it.

Dresses

I love this dress! It's cute and you can dress it up with a pair of heels and jewelry or keep it casual with Jacks and a Kendra Scott Elisa necklace.
This dress is great for spring break at the beach or a fun party. I would pair it with a sunhat and platinum Jacks.
This color combo is my go-to right now! I would cuff the sleeves and pair this with a pair of low top white Converse.

I got this dress for Christmas in black and white and I'm in love! This mustard color is one of my faves for spring. The dress is a heavy knit so it's not see through and its great quality. You could pair this dress with low top Converse, Jacks, flats, or strappy sandals.

Shirts and Blouses

Embroidery is in right now and I'm not complaining! This navy and white seersucker blouse is a great piece to have in your summer wardrobe! This would look great with a pair of white jeans or cute Pixie Pants.
I surprised myself when I chose this shirt because this isn't something I would normally go for. I would pair this top with a simple Kendra Scott necklace, some olive green pants, and nude flats.
I am DYING over this shirt!! When I saw this I knew I would have to buy it! This would look great with cuffed jeans and a pair of Sperry's.
I thought this was a fun top that could really be pair with anything!

Shorts

I love this style of shorts and this color something you will find a lot of in my wardrobe. Like in the picture, I would pair it with a navy striped top and a pair of strappy sandals.
You're probably wondering why I am featuring uniform shorts. If you're like me and have a strict dress code these are the only pair of shorts I could get away with wearing at school. I would pair these with any colored stripped top and a pair of Jacks or Sperry's.

Shoes

I love these! I thought they were so unique and would look great with anything!
These would pair great with a pair of Pixie Pants and a ruffled navy tank!
These are a classic spring essential. These got great with sundresses and will pair with most everything because they're simple.
These are more on the dressy side and would be great for family events or parties.
These are another essential that will look great with any spring dress!
I thought these were so classy! I would definitely wear these with pearls and red lip stick.
This is the same pattern as the flats and would pair great with a navy dress!
These sandals are so cute and would work great with any outfit!

Purses and Bags

I am in LOVE with this purse! I almost bought the Michael Kors version of this purse but the price of this one is so much better! These half moon purses are very popular and this blush pink is great for any time of year.
Taking a trip over spring break? This is the bag for you! I love the leather straps and the material will be easy to clean. This bag is a perfect weekend bag or beach tote!

Luv Ya! ❤

My 21st Birthday + XOXO Dining Room Review

Last month I celebrated my 21st birthday at one of the most Instagramable restaurants in Dallas! If I were a restaurant, I'd definitely be XOXO Dining Room. From the pink building, to the picture-worthy garden, to the DJ's music selection, it could not have been a more perfect place to celebrate my 21st.

5 Audrey Hepburn Movies Free to Watch With Amazon Prime

It rained the entire Memorial Day Weekend here so I spent the long weekend watching movies. Audrey Hepburn is my favorite actress so I spent the weekend binge watching classic movies starring Audrey. I came across five of her movies on Amazon that are free to watch with Prime and thought I would share in case you're in need of a rainy day movie too.

TJ Maxx Dressing Room Try On!

I did some more shopping but honestly are you surprised? My Step mom, MB and I went to TJ Maxx in search of some Lilly Pulitzer at a good price and I hit the jackpot! And I took pictures in the dressing room to do another try on!

A Day at Crocodile Encounters

In my  Spring Break Recap post  I mentioned going to a petting zoo and that I wanted to do a post about the adventure and that's what I am sharing with you today! The petting zoo was actually an alligator petting zoo that had other animals as well. The place was called Crocodile Encounters and it's near Houston. I must say that it was a bit sketchy (it was in some one's backyard!!) and I was a little bit nervous going in but it was a ton of fun! When you get there you enter through the gift shop where you can buy crocodile food that you can throw to them and lettuce you can feed to all of the other animals so we bought some to feed the animals. We didn't spend but a couple of hours there because this pale girl was quickly burning and I didn't want to be the color of a lobster the next day. And don't forget you can click on the pictures to view them larger!

Styling a Lilly Pulitzer Skirt

I recently purchased this "vintage' Lilly Pulitzer skirt from a thrift store and it has become one of my favorite spring clothing items. When I posted about this skirt on Instagram everyone went crazy so I thought it would be fun to share a couple of ways I have styled it so far.
