Goodbye Sophomore Year!

Well, today was my last day as a sophomore and I have officially completed my sophomore year of high school.

I'm so happy to say that my sophomore year is coming to a close that means I am one step closer to being out of high school. It's kind of crazy to think that I am half way through high school and will be going off to college in the blink of an eye. But this year has been one fabulous adventure!

This year I moved and transferred to a new school that is a million times better than my old school. It feels like a real high school and it's a whole lot bigger so the whole school doesn't know your business. Even though there are some seriously sketchy kids and nobody but my two friends have even heard of the word "preppy" I love it so much more. I had amazing teachers this year that taught me so much and made my classes enjoyable.
This year I moved into a house that has land and we now have cows which is a whole new experience for me. We have a pond and a barn which make fun places for taking pictures. We recently discovered that we have blackberry bushes and my mom is going to make a cobbler with them which is kind of cool.
I met the two best friends I had been asking God to bring into my life and they are the most amazing people I could've ever met. The fabulous thing about them is they have the same interests and beliefs as I do and they will dress up with me on dress up days at school which makes it all the more fun. We had lots of fun parties together and ranted about the stuck up kids and teachers at school, and gripped about this generation like old people.
This year I completed my goal of becoming a company rep for Jadelynn Brooke and met some of the most amazing girls along the way! (Use my code SLMHS17 for 15% off at JadelynnBrooke.com)
This school year I made it a full school year without being on crutches or having surgery and I forgot how that felt. Although I will be going back down that path this summer it was great having the ability to walk around my maze of a school without the annoyance.
This school year I expanded my blog and started posting a few times a week. I love that I got back into blogging this year because it really gave me an outlet to get away from things but also to connect with other people and express myself. And one of my best friends that I mentioned above created a blog so we have another thing on common, You can check out Sarah's blog here.

Overall sophomore year was pretty great and I can't wait for all of the exciting things to come in the upcoming school year.

Luv ya! And happy summer!

Two Ways to Style Lilly Pulitzer During Winter

As you can probably guess I love Lilly Pulitzer. The bright fun prints are my favorite but they aren't quite suitable for winter. I would wear my Lilly shift dress everyday if I could but when it's 40 degrees outside a shift dress isn't weather appropriate. I came up with two ways to wear your Lilly during winter without freezing or looking out of place in your bright clothes.

Life Lately Vol. 7

It has been an eventful couple of months for me! I have been so busy with school and fun activities with friends I haven't had much time to think about updating the blog. I thought it would be good to share a little life update with you.

Graduation Dress Roundup

For those of us who are seniors, graduation is right around the corner! This year flew by so fast and pretty soon I'll be in college. Today I am sharing ten dresses that are perfect for graduation. Five of the dresses are white dresses for those of you who like white dresses for graduation or who go to a school where a white dress is required and the other five are colorful dresses that I thought would be cute under your graduation gown.

Dressing Room Try On!

McCray and I spent the day Saturday at North Park and had some fun shopping. We tried on a few different things from the Gal Meets Glam collection at Nordstrom and at Lilly Pulitzer. I loved most everything I tried on and had to share in case you wanted to shop the items too!
