TJ Maxx Dressing Room Try On

I went to TJ Maxx yesterday and I hit the jackpot! I found some amazing items at fabulous prices! Wow, that sounded like a commercial...sorry. In the past when I have gone shopping there I have done dressing room try on sessions where I show everything I tried on and talk about the items. You can click here to view the other try on sessions. I am back with another! This one is a lot shorter than the others because I didn't find much related to clothing.

I always start with what I wore going to the store so here's my outfit. I wore my Lilly Pulitzer Michelle top in the print Going Coastal with my navy Old Navy shorts and Birkenstocks.
Here is the first dress. I didn't love it to begin with and I tried it on and liked it but it was a size too small. If I were to raise my arms you would be able to see my butt...
I tried to feature the back of the dress and it clearly didn't work out. The back laced up and tied in a bow at the top.
I tried on the Sail to Sable dress that was on sale for more than $100 off! I was really hoping that it would fit but it was too big. It was the smallest size they had and I looked like one of my mom's curtains, it just didn't fit.
This cute tank is so soft! It is navy and white striped and it's really soft and also cute! It will be featured in an upcoming Outfit of the Day if you want to see how I style it.
If you've read any of the previous try ons I always try these Ralph Lauren tees on. I call this my Phineas shirt because in the show Phineas and Ferb this is the outfit Phineas wears! The tee is orange and white stripes, it has a v neck, and it is so soft!
Okay, this outfit picture is not very good, sorry. The shirt is navy and says "sail." The wording isn't printed on the shirt but written in a rope type material. I wanted to wear this tank with these shorts but the tank is really long and it just didn't look right so I tied the slits on each side into a bow and it looks so much better (the picture does not do it justice). The shorts are bright pink with embroidered navy anchors and I think they have a 7" inseam which is nice because I can wear them to school!

That's all for today's try on, I hope you enjoyed it!

Luv Ya!

My 21st Birthday + XOXO Dining Room Review

Last month I celebrated my 21st birthday at one of the most Instagramable restaurants in Dallas! If I were a restaurant, I'd definitely be XOXO Dining Room. From the pink building, to the picture-worthy garden, to the DJ's music selection, it could not have been a more perfect place to celebrate my 21st.

A Look Inspired by Lonestar Southern

Putting together outfits has been a struggle recently. I have found myself many mornings standing in my closet just staring at my clothes. The other day I was scrolling through Kate from LonestarSouthern.com 's Instagram feed and saw that she had put together the cutest look with a ruffle sleeve top, jeans, and flats. I had all of those items in my closet so I decided to recreate her look. It was so easy to do and I had never thought of styling these pieces together.

Abercrombie Winter Sale

I recently discovered how amazing Abercrombie jeans are, just in time for their 50% off sale! I've rounded up a few of my favorite pieces in the sale, along with my new favorite jeans from there.

Trend Tracking: Cardigans

1  // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 // 8 // 9 Sweater cardigans are a hot item at the moment. They are most popularly worn buttoned up as a shirt but are also often seen paired with a solid turtle neck and layered necklaces. I have rounded up nine cardigans I love, all at different price ranges. One thing I love about this trend is the variety. I have some cardigans, like the ones I linked above that I purchased at boutiques and I have others that were my grandma's. I love to wear cardigans with straight leg jeans and booties or fashion sneakers.  shop this cardigan Shilo
