I have fallen in love with this elephant dress! I received it for Christmas and could not wait to wear it! This gorgeous Crown and Ivy dress is perfect for banquet or going out to dinner. This dress is actually on major sale right now and I have linked it as well as everything else I'm wearing at the bottom of the post.
For jewelry I wore a strand of pearls strung in gold to play on the gold in the dress as well as my shoes, a silver Kate Spade watch, and a pearl bracelet and earrings.
The dress has fun ruffles around the neckline and sleeve which I feel dress it up a little bit more.
Here's a closer look at my jewelry and one of the cute elephants that are printed on the dress.
I got these darling flats for sale at J Crew Factory and love them! I do believe they come in at least three colors but I liked the neutral the best because it goes well with so many things. I love the little gold heel because it gives me that extra inch without being a major heel. For someone who can't wear heels (due to foot problems) I love these because they feel dressy like a heel but are still manageable and not as casual as a typical flat.
As you can probably guess I love Lilly Pulitzer. The bright fun prints are my favorite but they aren't quite suitable for winter. I would wear my Lilly shift dress everyday if I could but when it's 40 degrees outside a shift dress isn't weather appropriate. I came up with two ways to wear your Lilly during winter without freezing or looking out of place in your bright clothes.
It has been an eventful couple of months for me! I have been so busy with school and fun activities with friends I haven't had much time to think about updating the blog. I thought it would be good to share a little life update with you.
For those of us who are seniors, graduation is right around the corner! This year flew by so fast and pretty soon I'll be in college. Today I am sharing ten dresses that are perfect for graduation. Five of the dresses are white dresses for those of you who like white dresses for graduation or who go to a school where a white dress is required and the other five are colorful dresses that I thought would be cute under your graduation gown.
I'm not typically a girl who follows trends but since headbands have come back in style they're giving me all the Blair Waldorf vibes and I love it! Today I have rounded up a few of my favorite places to shop cute headbands. One thing I love about this trend is that it isn't expensive to shop, all of the items I linked are very inexpensive with the exception of the Anthropologie finds which fall on the more expensive side for an item like this.
