18th Birthday Recap!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! This year has flown by so fast and I can't believe it's about to be 2019! Last week I celebrated my 18th birthday which I think is absolutely crazy so today I'm sharing some pictures from my fun night.
My family, McCray and I celebrated my birthday with a dinner at Benihana, a hibachi restaurant in Dallas and had so much fun watching the chef cook our food in the middle of our table.

We started the night with a dance party in the car on the way to the restaurant. The traffic was insane so I was able to get in some good quality dance moves.

The kids menus at Benihana can be folded so you can wear them as a hat and I was able to talk McCray into wearing one and having fun with me. Being the cute best friend that she is, McCray wrote "birthday girl" on my hat in her cute cursive hand writing.
Birthday dinner = fun birthday drinks!

Our chef was hilarious! He was telling jokes while making our food and had us laughing so hard we were crying, he was definitely a great chef to have when celebrating your birthday!

For my birthday they brought out ice cream with a candle in it and sang to me in Japanese. I couldn't eat the ice cream but McCray said it was great.

We celebrated my birthday Tuesday night because my birthday fell on a Wednesday this year and I didn't want to miss church. When I got to school Wednesday morning McCray surprised me with a venti peppermint hot chocolate and once again, in her cute cursive handwriting wrote "birthday girl." She also made sure that the lady at Starbucks spelled my name right.

On Wednesday before church I picked up my little sister and a family friend who we will call Red (she has a blog that you can read here) and Red came out to the car with a big present and a balloon for me, it was so sweet!

I had an amazing time celebrating my 18th birthday this year!

Luv ya!

Trend Tracking: Western T Shirts

Western and country style has been emerging more within the trendy side of the fashion world recently. Being from Texas, I think it's kind of fun.  Along with bright colored cowboy boots and cow print, you can find many popular fashion influencers wearing western-inspired graphic tees. Today I have rounded up some of my favorites that are all under $40.   YeeHaw T Shirt Wrangler T Shirt //  Cowboy T Shirt //  Cowgirl T Shirt //  Stay Wild T Shirt //  Let's Go Girls T Shirt //  Wild West T Shirt Shilo

Just north of Dallas lays the prettiest field of tulips, which makes for a perfect day trip activity for you and your friends. Texas Tulips is located in Pilot Point and is a place I look forward to visiting when they open each year.
