A lot has happened in the last couple of months and I haven't been very active on here so I thought I would catch you all up on what exciting things have been happening in my life!
I Graduated high school! If I'm being honest, high school was by far the worst four years of my life. I spent the first half on crutches, having surgeries, and at doctors appointments which is no fun at all. I also changed schools, lost friends, gained friends, and everything else that comes along with it so I am definitely happy that that chapter of my life is over.
I got a job! Big news people, I am your newest American Girl Salon doll hairstylist! If you've been a follower from the beginning you might have read my doll blog that I started when I was 12. I have a large collection of American Girl Dolls and my dream when I was younger was to work at the American Girl store and I made that dream happen. Nine year old me would be so proud! So if you were never into American Girls then you might not know about the whole craze. At each store while you're shopping you can drop your doll off at the doll salon to get her hair done, ears pierced, and nails painted and that is what I do as my job. So far I have had so much fun with it! All of the little girls stand around the counter watching me and the other stylists do their dolls hair and they love to ask us questions about our job and tell us about their life.
I had a grad party with my best friend! I am writing a whole post on the party where I will share more pictures and links to shop the decor which should be up within the next couple of weeks but the party was so much fun! A few friends from school came and we swam, ate Chick-fil-A, and had fun in a bounce house all afternoon!
I became an official DBU student! This one is kind of a big deal for me. I am so excited for college, I need August to hurry up and get here! At orientation I met a couple of my friends that I had been talking to through social media and stuff and they are the most amazing people! I signed up for my classes, got to sit in a couple of my future classrooms, went to a party where I met incoming students, and rang the bell! The bell ringing is a tradition at DBU. Every student rings the bell marking the beginning of their journey at DBU. I have a feeling my college experience is going to be a million times better than my high school one!
I spent a week at the beach! I spent last week in Destin, Florida with my family. My sister and her family met us there and we had the most amazing time playing on the beach! I went on a dolphin cruise, went snorkeling, did a little bit of shopping, and soaked up the sun the best I could! It was so nice having the week to just relax and have fun.
I hope you are having a wonderful summer!
Luv ya!
Pink Einstein
