Two Francesca's Dresses I'm Loving

Exciting news: I got a job! I now work at Francesca's and I absolutely love it. I had never purchased anything at Fran's until I got the job and I'm just now realizing how cute their clothes are. My sister and I did a little bit of summer shopping in there the other day and I picked up these two gorgeous dresses.
Sadly, neither one of these dresses are available for purchase on their website anymore but I would still check in your local boutique, I know ours still has quite a few of both of them in stock. The good news is, new arrivals are 60% off online right now so you can find lots of other exciting items!

I fell in love with this dress when it first came to the boutique. I love the straps that tie in a bow, the color palette, and the fun hem. This dress can definitely be worn a ton of different ways. You can dress it up with a pair of heels for dinner or dress it down with sandals. I can't wait to wear it in the fall with a fun pair of booties and a denim jacket too!

This dress give me Disney princess vibes! I feel like I'm Belle walking through her village on the way to the book store or something! The bodice of the dress is ruched and it has darling ruffled sleeves. This midi dress is perfect for a picnic or church and can be styled with both simple heels and sandals.

Make sure you check the Francesca's website before the 60% off sale ends to get you some fun dresses too!

My 21st Birthday + XOXO Dining Room Review

Last month I celebrated my 21st birthday at one of the most Instagramable restaurants in Dallas! If I were a restaurant, I'd definitely be XOXO Dining Room. From the pink building, to the picture-worthy garden, to the DJ's music selection, it could not have been a more perfect place to celebrate my 21st.

TJ Maxx Dressing Room Try On!

I did some more shopping but honestly are you surprised? My Step mom, MB and I went to TJ Maxx in search of some Lilly Pulitzer at a good price and I hit the jackpot! And I took pictures in the dressing room to do another try on!

A Day at Crocodile Encounters

In my  Spring Break Recap post  I mentioned going to a petting zoo and that I wanted to do a post about the adventure and that's what I am sharing with you today! The petting zoo was actually an alligator petting zoo that had other animals as well. The place was called Crocodile Encounters and it's near Houston. I must say that it was a bit sketchy (it was in some one's backyard!!) and I was a little bit nervous going in but it was a ton of fun! When you get there you enter through the gift shop where you can buy crocodile food that you can throw to them and lettuce you can feed to all of the other animals so we bought some to feed the animals. We didn't spend but a couple of hours there because this pale girl was quickly burning and I didn't want to be the color of a lobster the next day. And don't forget you can click on the pictures to view them larger!

5 Tips for Buying Lilly Pulitzer on a Budget

Within the last couple of years I have really fallen in love with Lilly Pulitzer. I love the fun bright prints and how I stand out when I wear them. My Lilly collection isn't very big but I would like to think I own a good amount. I'm always asked how I can afford so many Lilly Pulitzer items and the truth is, I can't. If I were to buy all of my Lilly items in a Lilly Pulitzer store I would be so broke. By now you should know I'm all about finding great deals and that's my secret to affording Lilly. Here are my top 5 tips on getting Lilly Pulitzer items at a great price!

Styling a Lilly Pulitzer Skirt

I recently purchased this "vintage' Lilly Pulitzer skirt from a thrift store and it has become one of my favorite spring clothing items. When I posted about this skirt on Instagram everyone went crazy so I thought it would be fun to share a couple of ways I have styled it so far.
