Twenty

Goodbye teens, hello twenties! My birthday was a couple of weeks ago so here's a little recap of the day.

We kicked off the celebration in my apartment. My family came over before we headed off to dinner to open presents and take pictures. You know you're getting old when you get excited about recieving an air fryer! McCray later joined us for cake and by that time we were ready to make our way to Dallas.

I chose to have my birthday dinner at Benihana. We've celebrated here in the past and my family always has the best time watching the chef cook our food in the middle of the table. The kids menus fold into hats so McCray, my brother, and I had fun wearing them throughout most of dinner!

We didn't want the celebration to stop there so McCray and I headed down to Lower Greenville to grab ice cream at the Creamistry. I love the Creamistry because you get to pick what type of milk to use as your base (coconut, regular milk, oat, etc.) so I'm able to enjoy it too! I got a caramel crunch flavor and McCray got a mint oreo chip ice cream.

It wouldn't be a day with McCray and I without a photo shoot! To end our night we went to city hall and took pictures on the steps and with the Christmas decor.  I definitely felt like Blair Waldorf, if only I was on the steps of the Met!

I filmed clips throughout the day so enjoy this little vlog I put together!

My 21st Birthday + XOXO Dining Room Review

Last month I celebrated my 21st birthday at one of the most Instagramable restaurants in Dallas! If I were a restaurant, I'd definitely be XOXO Dining Room. From the pink building, to the picture-worthy garden, to the DJ's music selection, it could not have been a more perfect place to celebrate my 21st.

TJ Maxx Dressing Room Try On!

I did some more shopping but honestly are you surprised? My Step mom, MB and I went to TJ Maxx in search of some Lilly Pulitzer at a good price and I hit the jackpot! And I took pictures in the dressing room to do another try on!

5 Audrey Hepburn Movies Free to Watch With Amazon Prime

It rained the entire Memorial Day Weekend here so I spent the long weekend watching movies. Audrey Hepburn is my favorite actress so I spent the weekend binge watching classic movies starring Audrey. I came across five of her movies on Amazon that are free to watch with Prime and thought I would share in case you're in need of a rainy day movie too.

A Day at Crocodile Encounters

In my  Spring Break Recap post  I mentioned going to a petting zoo and that I wanted to do a post about the adventure and that's what I am sharing with you today! The petting zoo was actually an alligator petting zoo that had other animals as well. The place was called Crocodile Encounters and it's near Houston. I must say that it was a bit sketchy (it was in some one's backyard!!) and I was a little bit nervous going in but it was a ton of fun! When you get there you enter through the gift shop where you can buy crocodile food that you can throw to them and lettuce you can feed to all of the other animals so we bought some to feed the animals. We didn't spend but a couple of hours there because this pale girl was quickly burning and I didn't want to be the color of a lobster the next day. And don't forget you can click on the pictures to view them larger!

Styling a Lilly Pulitzer Skirt

I recently purchased this "vintage' Lilly Pulitzer skirt from a thrift store and it has become one of my favorite spring clothing items. When I posted about this skirt on Instagram everyone went crazy so I thought it would be fun to share a couple of ways I have styled it so far.
