Exciting Life Updates!

I just realized I left my readers out of the loop on some of the life changes I have made recently that will be taking effect starting next week actually, so I thought I would share a few updates today.

I'm transferring schools! I brand myself as this fashion/college/faith/lifestyle blogger but I am now in my third year of college and never talk or post about it. This is because I was extremely unhappy at my previous university. I had no life there, I only had two friends at that school and was otherwise miserable. My college experience felt no different from my high school experience.

I made the spontaneous decision to apply to another university in April and literally completed my application on the spot. After that, I prayed about it and asked God to line things up if it was the right thing for me. I am not a spontaneous person at all and I have a lot of anxiety with every decision that I make but this one has been different. I have only visited the town my new school is in twice and since the beginning, I have been completely at peace with my decision to pack up and move there.

Once the school year starts I plan on going through sorority recruitment and joining a women's ministry group so if things go according to plan, I will have tons of fun things to share here on the blog!

I'm moving! With a new school comes a new place to call home! The college I will be attending in the fall is two hours away from Dallas so I will not be living in my current apartment any longer. I actually start moving into my new townhome next week!

Quitting my job... If you've been following along for the past year you probably know that I LOVE my job at The Impeccable Pig. Sadly, next Wednesday will be my last day working at The Pig (at least for now) and I am very sad about it. Dallas girls, come shop with me in Snider Plaza before I leave!!! :)

Although I am sad to be leaving this company that I have grown to love so much, I can't wait to see what job opportunities the boutiques around my new campus have to offer!

I am so excited to share more about these big changes in the upcoming weeks!

My Mom Picks Out My Outfits

I was a little worried letting my mom pick out my outfits because when I was in first grade she picked out my clothes for school everyday and I HATED it because the outfits were awful! But I guess over the past ten years she gotten better at it! lol

Trend Tracking: Cardigans

1  // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 // 7 // 8 // 9 Sweater cardigans are a hot item at the moment. They are most popularly worn buttoned up as a shirt but are also often seen paired with a solid turtle neck and layered necklaces. I have rounded up nine cardigans I love, all at different price ranges. One thing I love about this trend is the variety. I have some cardigans, like the ones I linked above that I purchased at boutiques and I have others that were my grandma's. I love to wear cardigans with straight leg jeans and booties or fashion sneakers.  shop this cardigan Shilo
