Life as Pink Einstein

It's not quite time to pull out all of the sweaters and vests but I did want to share a summer to fall transition outfit that will give you all of the fall feels but will also keep you cool when it warms up in the afternoon.

Today is the first day of October! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Now that it's October I am in the Halloween spirit! Halloween was always an interesting holiday for me. Up until about fifth grade every year on Halloween my little sister or I would get sick and end up throwing up in someone's yard before the night was over bringing the trick or treating to an end. Although I was always sick I did dress up every year and I have some fun pictures to share!

The week before last was New York Fashion Week and design group The Blonds created a line inspired by Disney villains and it is amazing! In my fashion design class we studied the collection and I'm sharing five of my favorite looks from the NYFW collection. 

The biggest sale of the year is finally here! I am so excited to be sharing my APS picks!

This year I am using the 3 Happy Hooligans agenda to keep track of all of my school assignments. It's very different than what I am used to because it is very simple (compared to the Lilly Pulitzer agenda). I am still getting used to decorating each week with different washi tapes and stickers rather than having a fun design already printed on each week. I wanted to share my planner spread for this week to hopefully give you a little bit of inspiration for your planner.

Last Thursday the Jadelynn Brooke sisters kicked off their Girl On a Mission store tour at Tyler's in Southlake Texas. McCray and I drove to Southlake for the meet up and had so much fun!

I must say I am having a fabulous first week of senior year! Tonight is our church kickoff to start the new school year and I can not wait! I volunteer before church starts and help serve dinner to students with all of my friends and we always have so much fun!    I picked up this adorable pink parrot peplum top from Belk while back to school shopping and I love everything about it! It is so comfortable, I love the design, and it has a bow detailing on the back which makes the shirt 100x better.
