It's Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale time once again! I was able to shop in stores for the first time ever and had so much fun with it. If you are new, Lilly Pulitzer has a biannual sale each year and you can get some really good items at amazing prices.
I fell in love with the first item I tried on. This romper has such a cute silhouette to it and its a comfy t shirt material which I love. I ended up purchasing this romper and I am actually wearing it to class today. The best way to describe this romper is by calling it a skort romper, its all one piece and from the front it looks like a dress but from the back you can see the shorts. I've never seen a romper like this and I'm so happy I was able to purchase this one.
I did not like this piece once I tried it on. It felt very much like a little girl's night gown to me but it was so comfortable that it would be a perfect casual dress.
I accidentally grabbed a size too small in this dress so it was not a comfortable fit but I think I would've purchased this dress if I got it in my size.
I didn't love this Essie so it didn't come home with me. It might have been the fact that I wore printed shorts to the store so that's what I had to try it on with but this top would look so cute with a pair of white jeans and sandals this summer or a pair of dark wash jeans, brown riding boots, and a navy cardigan in the fall.
I loved this top and I already own four of them (oops!) but I did not purchase it. I'm trying to be realistic with how much I'm spending at the moment because I am in college and have other things I could be spending my money on. If you don't own one of these tops I would highly recommend purchasing one! They are perfect to wear all year round, they're super comfy, and you can find them at a great price point during the sale.
I have been going through a skirt phase for like the past year and a half it seems like and I had to try on more Lilly skirts during the sale like I don't have enough of them already. I love the fit of Lilly skirts and a lot of them have built in shorts which is a nice bonus.
I tried this romper on when I was in the store in July and LOVED it so while I was shopping the sale I had to try it on again (I still love it!) but it was still more than I wanted to spend on an item I couldn't wear all the time so sadly, I didn't buy it.
